Currency
All prices are shown in, and payment should be made/will be
taken in Pounds Sterling.
Value Added Tax (VAT)
All prices exclude VAT (currently 17.5%) which will be added to all orders
destined within the EU except where:-
1) A fully completed VAT exemption form is provided, and
accepted by us and only on qualifying products.
This form is available to download from
the Secure Checkout.
2) A valid EU company VAT registration number is provided to
us by email to
info@thesensorycompany.co.uk mentioning
the unique order reference given on confirmation page.
Delivery
Goods will normally be despatched within 7 days. Any items not in
stock will be placed on back order and dispatched within 7 days of
them coming into stock. Credit card payments will be pre-authorised to
ensure the card is valid, but no payment will be taken until goods have been
dispatched.
Refunds
A full refund (less delivery & packaging costs) will be given on
any product* returned to us within 28 days, at the customers cost and in fully
re-saleable condition. *Refunds are not available on custom
manufactured/prepared products - (for example, but not limited
to, soft padding or any other items manufactured, cut,
prepared to the customers specific requirements) or any item otherwise not
re-saleable.
Cancellation
Your order can be cancelled at any time by notifying us in
writing at least 24 hours prior to the goods
being dispatched. Custom manufactured/prepared products - (for
example, but not limited to, soft padding or any other
items manufactured, cut, prepared to the customers specific
requirements) or any item otherwise not re-saleable, cannot be cancelled once
manufacture/preparation of the item has commenced even if the product has not
yet been dispatched.
Delivery Costs
Delivery costs given for orders to be sent outside of the United
Kingdom are estimated. If you are situated outside the UK, we will always call
or email you with exact delivery costs and await your approval prior to
us progressing your order. If we do not recieve approval within 14 days,
we will assume you no longer want to continue with your order and it will be
cancelled with no charge to you.
Replacement
We will replace any product which develops a fault within 28 days of
delivery, through bad workmanship or component failure. After 28 days we will
repair or replace the product at our sole discretion.
Troubleshooting
Does your shopping cart appear to be forgetting what you placed in it?
If your shopping cart appears to be 'forgetting' what you have placed in it, it
is probably because you don't have cookies enabled on your browser.
A cookie is a very small file that our site (and most other
E-commerce sites) automatically places on your computer, so we can identify
what you have put in your cart, to what other people have put in theirs. We
guarantee that these are perfectly safe, contain no information about you
or your computer, and will in no way harm your computer.
To enable cookies in Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, then Internet
Options, then click the Privacy tab and click the Default button (or move
Privacy slider to Medium). Don't forget to then click the Apply Button and OK.
You will then find this site works as expected.
